Hobart – our full-sized Churchill AVRE tank
Leading stats for D-Day decorations 2024
• 2300 Balls of wool used
• 1885 Knitted 8-inch squares for the tank, each square taking up to 3 hours to knit
• Approximately 75,000 man/woman hours on the project (so far!)
• Approximately £3000 worth of timber to build the tank frame
Our City will be decorated with a variety of knitted pieces
